We were staying close by and dropped onto TripAdvisor for ideas of where we could grab a breakfast, ahead of a busy day. The Buttery was perfect. Parked right outside and table available right inside. Service was prompt and the place was clean. It’s very obvious the owners are hardworking and keen to please. The breakfast itself was amazing. Extremely friendly staff providing great breakfasts. I'm a vegetarian and the options on offer are fantastic for myself. Good location near the university so if you're ever on Markeaton Street campus this is the place to go.

Fantastic place to get breakfast, the breakfast baps are awesome always cooked fresh and plenty of filling.Really friendly staff and nice clean environment to have a full English breakfast.
