A lovely and welcoming traditional pub. We were a group out walking in the Glossop area and called in to shelter from the heavy rain. The staff kindly offered the warm radiators to place our clothing on to help to dry out our coats etc. The food served to other diners looked so good that we decided to stay to eat. I absolutely love this pub, I can't even express how much!Anthony and Leanne who own it are incredible, they make/run their friendly community pub very homely and friendly! Sunday dinner for the family. Tender leg of lamb, roast and mash, Yorkshire pudding, veg and gravy. absolutely delicious and excellent value for money at c£15 per head. The staff are really attentive, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend you book. Cannot fault it. ??
