We visited at Lunch time one day, waited at the bar for what seemed like an age, the bar person was upstairs doing something (no idea what) we were looking to purchase food and drink, however we were told we were welcome to come have a drink but we couldn't get anything to eat until 5pm, about a 4 hour wait so we had drinks and left.
This is a lovely pub/restaurant with a good choice of food. I have been a few times. The staff are friendly and quickly took our drinks order. We ordered food and it arrived quickly, it was delicious. We ordered another round of drinks, good choice of drinks including cocktails, however no one asked if we would like desserts? The dessert menu looked good however I was quite full as we had ordered a couple of portions of chips to share between the 5 of us which was enough. The...read full review

Went for coffee with friends (which was good) and given table at the back. Low shelving right above bench seat so whacked my head when getting seated. Really dangerous design as impossible to miss unless you’re under 5 feet tall. Mentioned this to waitress who said that a lot people have banged their heads on it but it’s just the design ?♀️. Message to the Manager, this is a high health and safety risk, get it sorted.
