This café is a little gem. It's usually only for takeaways and snacks, but today they put on an amazing Christmas spread for our craft group. Special diets were catered for, the meals were lovely and the service great. They even went to the shop across the road and came back with some ice cream especially for me. A small village cafe which serves home cooked food for a reasonable cost. The best thing is it's simple, filling and tastes good. Friday is always fish day, with Fish, chips and peas, bread & butter and drink being £5.95.

A very nice welcome always at Clare's cafè, great food at very reasonable price, all the staff always are very helpful and friendly and can never do enough for you... Becoming a goto breakfast visit every week..
