Ist time visiting this pub, was so happy the food was really good ? and the service was excellent. Been a while since my friend had nothing at all to complain about ? can't wait to go back.The Spanish Chicken was so good ?Lovey people.Dietary restrictions: Food is cooked fresh so they were happy to change little things if needed, this would be great with my son as he's lactose intelligent and many places just don't cater.
On our visit which was about 6months ago it was a lovely friendly pub which has a large main bar area. The people and the landlady/landlord made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return, when we have time to go. Great pub!!

For a Wet Pub (one that doesn't serve food) the Palatine is great. It is warm, friendly, well run by attentive staff and the regulars are really welcoming and approachable. We only popped in whilst waiting for a takeaway at Reshma on the highstreet (I can highly recommend) and we were made to feel at home straightway. We will be popping back again soon!
