Having just moved to the area, I thought I'd check the local pub out.I was met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great beers at reasonable prices, the staff are lovely too. Looking forward to my next visit already!
Fantastic community pub, lovely, homely, welcoming feel to the place. The new owners have turned this place around. Quiz night on Wednesday, pop ups from food stands, karaoke and cracking live bands...and the beer is excellent, very well kept! Definitely worth a visit!

Still a great pub. After not being in the Tavern in a few years it was good to come back in. Having a pint of Titanic Plumb Porter, at £3.50 a pint, it was a great drink. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Worth a visit
