Had a lovely hour or two here with some friends. I got the squid and the Korean chicken strips (both as starters). Good size portions and with the price. All well cooked and delicious looking forward to going back when I'm next in the area.
Lovely 15th Century hotel and pub/restaurant. Dinner was good, food slightly on the pricey side. Breakfast was amazing, awesome fry up and pastries too. Rooms were ok, not 5 star but reasonable. Staff were pleasant. Nice surroundings and building as the pub is approx 600 years old with old photos on the wall. Def worth a visit for a sip of the ole nectar or feed up.

Thank you to the staff especially Dee who made our meal at the Dog and Partridge special. We had items from the Lunch Menu which had variety and the meals were well prepared and filling. Dee was welcoming and made our visit very enjoyable.
