First time visit and they were busy (always a good sign). We managed to get a table but were advised there would be a wait. We weren't kept too long and the meals (smoked haddock risotto and salmon with Asian spices were really tasty as was the ice cream dessert. Staff were friendly and attentive, providing a bottle of chilled water on arrival. Would definitely go again!

We had the salmon (very nice) and venison steak (absolutely excellent) as mains. The cooking was little different to usual, but we both liked it. The portions were generous to southern experience. Service excellent.

Lovely lunch, great quiche and crayfish salad and a bottle of prosecco of course. Well cooked food at a reasonable price, the staff were lovely, really friendly and the restaurant was nice inside. A great find for our trips to Buxton, we will be back

Mahi Mahi in the peak district??? Oh my goodness the most fantastic fish dish I've had outside of Antigua. Friendly knowledgeable staff notably Steven the owner\\nAmazing coconut shrimp. Vegetarian burger and fish dishes, wish I was a local!

Visited Baileys last night with my family. We had a lovely relaxing evening. The food was very good. it was a very pleasant atmosphere nothing was rushed . The service was excellent, very friendly hostess, who was kept very busy doing all the waiting on herself. Will definitely return.

This was a spur of the minute decision as we drove past and it looked lovely. Fairly busy for mid week in January. Staff was nice, food was very tasty and plenty of it. Good value, would return.

Harsh 3* due to the fact they couldn’t offer an extra peppercorn sauce or garlic bread with the main over Christmas. I get it was a set menu but the fact they’re unable to accommodate to my minor extra demands made my fillet steak unpleasant to eat.
