No longer George's-now Caudel & Dorsal. The food was fine, but expensive for what it is. Got fish, chips, pie, battered sausage and fish bites. Went back to query my receipt as the total was more than the items added together but sadly it was a printing error.Service fine, but no greeting or acknowledgement on arrival on either visits.

Oh dear..what is happening? Been eating here in and takeaway for many years..now..a hint of economy of basic products and presentation. Across the menu..Hit and miss chips. Sometimes good other times small, stood too long before serving, onion gravy? Went today and George's is usually very enjoyable. The Fish batter was chewy and so was the fish. The chips were stale and the price was unreal. £10.40 for fish and chips is ridiculous. Compared to the quality the price didn't pair up. Had it been excellent the price could have been forgiven.
