Another very lovely visit to Restoration cafe! Lovely cherry scone, great coffee but on every visit it is the warm and friendly welcome of the staff team that really makes a difference and makes it worth returning! There is the added bonus that you can buy jams, pickles and marmalades made on site…. Came as part of a group with learn difficulties and dementia, The atmosphere was ideal and the food and drink was fantastic, but best of all was the service, Bridie helpful, understand and made our vista to matlock bath perfect.
Matlock Bath is a wasted opportunity (by the local council) by its lack of diverse places to visit there - unless you like fish and chips or arcade machines. However The Pavillion/Restoration Cafe breaks that mould. We nearly missed this place whilst walking back to Cromford Mills today but saw the billboard outside proffering competitive drinks and rate priced. They weren’t wrong.
