The Melbourne Inn, 20 High St, Derby

I was designated driver for this visit, so zero alcohol for me, didn't rate the lager, fruit cider was good, the other option was zero Guinness.
I had a bacon sandwich, excellent, I have to say though, the seats outside were really uncomfortable and my 2 older sisters agreed wholeheartedly.
Service and atmosphere was great but the party of about 40 stayed outside so cannot rate inside.
Appeared to have a fair range of beers on draught.

Parking: No actual parking at the pub but there's a free car park right behind it with parking for about 50 vehicles, didn't count them, just a guess.

The Hardinge Arms

Popped down the other Saturday to try the food but unfortunately they were not serving food. There was a pop up mexican outside so we stopped and ate that inside the pub. It was very nice and friendly. To be fair there was entertainment on and I assume that is the reason why there was no food.

Fabulous birthday meal for my husband.. service excellence, food absolutely delicious and the chefs wife even made a spectacular pop up birthday card for my husband which we were presented with at the end of the night… the Bay Tree never fails to offer an absolutely fabulous meal out.. thank you Bay Tree Melbourne!

Amalfi White

We were informed that our original venue was cancelled due to a flood 48hrs before the event, we contacted Amalfi White and they managed to accommodate us for a private dining event. Nigel and his team pulled out all the stops to make this a rememberable evening, customer care and service, as well as the food was 1st class, all of our guests commented on how the enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
