The New Inn
The New Inn, 61 The Wharf, Shardlow, DerbyLovely old fashioned pub on the canal path, plenty of parking.Food is home cooked and really good with large portions, the homemade chips are fabulous.It's dog friendly and has a lovely outdoor seating area.

117 London Rd, Shardlow, DerbyHidden Gem! Wow what a find.We booked a table here for an early Mother's day meal. We were the first people there for lunch, but others started arriving soon after. They had a good selection of homemade food on the menu. The lady who served us was very nice and explained various aspects of the menu items perfectly. The food was delicious and extremely good value. The chicken kiev was made to order and the selection of different burger patties was impressive. Plenty of old favourites like fish & chips, Shepard's pie, chicken curry to name a few. They have a kids menu and a sharing platters menu if you want something lighter.Part of me wants to keep this place as my little secret, but they have definitely earned this review and I look forward to trying other items on their menu.

The Boathouse Shardlow
Shardlow Marina, London Rd, Shardlow, DerbyAlways a great night there, the Band's they have are excellent, limited parking due to people living on the Boats park there, cannot comment on the Food but they have a Carvery on Sundays 12- 4.00pm, disabled access and Toilets available, close to a Bus stop, Skyline from Derby or Leicester.
