Lovely place, fantastic food and service. We had the steak and ale pie with fresh parsnips, carrots and mashed potato all of which were delicious. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. This was our first visit however we are looking forward to returning again soon.
We travelled from Doncaster to visit my brother for New Year's Eve. We were looking for somewhere go for an early evening meal and managed to get a table mid afternoon at this lovely pub. What a find. We all went for the beef roast dinner and from the presentation to the staff serving ourselves was amazing. Very nice decor, friendly service and excellent food. The beetroot and goats cheese starter was delicious and the chicken supreme was wonderful. Deserts appear home-made and were super. This place deserves to succeed.
