This hotel/pub has had a refurb and it looks lovely and we was greeted with a lovely welcome but the negatives are the food wasnt brillant. In the evening we booked a table and was told we had to go to the bar to order food.We had steak and my was vey tough and rubbery.I found that one or two of the staff not very attentive.though other staff compensated for them. Love coming here, being on my own I feel so comfortable and safe. Staff friendly and helpful, the food was tasty, and I can get a veggie meal.Vegetarian options: Very tasty veggie sausages and mash

It was easy to book online and my ‘special request’ was read and provided.After being greeted we were sat at a lovely table, provided with menus and details of how to order.Our order arrived in less than ten minutes and the food both looked and tasted good, it was good value for money to begin with but we had a discount voucher which made it even better.The bar/eating area was clean and modern as were the toilets and the staff welcoming, we will be back very soon.
