This has been our local Chinese for 8 years now. We have tried a fair few before deciding, ‘you pay for what you get’. Slightly more expensive than others but my Gosh so worth the extra few pence. The crispy shredded beef is so crisp and tastes like beef! The salt and pepper chips are amazing, curries are tasty, sweet and sour chicken never had any issues with, unlike photos. We were staying locally for a mini break and fancied a Chinese. This place was one of the ones mentioned in the welcome pack so we have it a go. Really pleased we did. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.Parking: Locals seemed to be parking outside, we parked in morrisons which is a few seconds away
The service I received was 5 stars! Really friendly people. I've seen many great reviews, and 90% of people said food was excellent. I would like to be able to agree, but in this case, I can't. I'm a big food person and spend a lot of time cooking and love flavour. Sadly, most of the dishes I ordered lacked flavour. It might sound ridiculous for a Chinese takeaway as they are usually very salty, but even things like the chicken balls tasted as if they didn't even have seasoning...read full review
