Pubs • “Just had an excellent meal to celebrate my wife’s birthday. First visit this year but will definitely go again. Good menu, great food and very attentive staff. It’s a shame there wasn’t a fire in the large, feature (empty) fireplace in the main dining room.”

The staff are always very friendly and the food arrives in good time even when the place is full. Favourite dishes (so far) are the mixed kebab, Piri Piri chicken and the minted lamb rump. The self service carvery is always popular and the pizzas look amazing so will have to try those some time. Easy to get to with plenty of parking, it's not a surprise they are usually packed out. Booking is recommended.”

Despite the busyness we were served quickly and efficiently all night.”
