This was the first time in 20 years we had visited and were pleased and surprised how nice the pub was. The food was great many of us had two courses and multitudes of drinks! We were served by Kiki who was well mannered and efficient everything went perfectly!
Met friends for lunch, booked here because it was halfway between where we all live. Decent sized car park, pleasant welcome from staff, nice table in warm well-lit room. I noted a large "festive" party in the next room, which might impact on service. Sunday lunch with a friend. We had booked a table, it was quite busy which was nice to see in January. Food and service was exceptional, wouldn't hesitate to return. I think they only do a Sunday lunch menu on a Sunday (no normal menu and no children's menu, maybe a smaller roast dinner for children) which is worth knowing.
