Booked a room here for a one-night stay and left very satisfied. Pub quite lively with a good atmosphere... you could hear shouts and people having fun until closing time. Staff super friendly and showed me ropes on arrival. Rooms are a good size and beds comfortable and bouncy. Was very impressed by the period features and woodwork - visually very impressive. Excellent home cooked food and reasonably priced, stayed for a couple of nights and the room was very clean and spacious, very good location for exploring many local attractions, very helpful and friendly staff. Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely return.

Our first visit here even after living in Worksop for almost 30 years. Great food proper home cooked, a good menu plenty of choice something for everyone. Will definitely come again, reasonably priced, friendly staff.
