The food is always brilliant and the staff amazing and the service brilliant the staff are allways fantastic. I usually have a battered sausage. And children's chips. Most of the staff remember what I want but I've been ill for three weeks. With gout. So not been able to drive. I have so missed. My regular meals there. And can't wait to get back there. Nice fish and chips, but £16.50 for a large (fairly standard portion!) Fish chips and peas certainly stings a bit. Since when did a quick chippy tea turn into a £40 meal for 2 adults and a kids meal...
Great that you can order online 10% off for new customers, and even though I arrived early for the order it was bang on time and fresh as you could imagine. Pipping hot, the batter was crispy without being greasy and the fish was nice and regular size is big enough. The flavour of the chips was nice and I've read they use locally sourced potatoes, I'd say you can tell the difference.
