“We visited this pub whilst staying in the village of chulmleigh. We were made very welcome by Sam & mrs Paddy, we had a meal there on one of the nights, which was delicious, I had the home made Steak & Stilton pie, which was the best I have ever tasted, my husband had half roast chicken which was also delicious. We also joined in the quiz night which was fun, Sam is very entertaining. Thankyou for making us feel so welcome, David and Janet”

“Went in for a takeaway and it was so nice. Scampi and chips but i asked the chef, tasha, if i could have a salad instead of peas and she kindly obliged. It was just what i needed after a long day at work. The hunters chicken burger was perfect for my partner. We will return for more of tashas cooking soon.”
