Stopped here at the last minute as just passing - so glad we did- lovely friendly welcome, wonderful food, lovely atmosphere (local traditional Irish folk group playing - very well!!l) definitely recommend to everyone!!

Having seen good reviews and because they're dog friendly, we planned on early dinner but stayed longer because we enjoyed the feel of the place, the friendly service, great food an unexpected live music. We had lasagne and scampi. Great food. The freshly prepared salad served with the mains was excellent. The creme brulee was freshly made and top notch. I had a well served pint or two of Teignworthy Gun Dog. Well kept, very good beer. All in all a great experience.

Lovely pub (proper pub) close to where we were staying. Had a couple of pints of their local real ale which was good. Landlord was accommodating, helpful and good to talk with Our food was served in good time and we were unable to find fault with any of it.
