Walked over from Whitford for a pint somewhere out of the rain, rugby was on so we settled down for a couple of pints each! Great to find decent pints under £5, staff were lovely and the pub had a great atmosphere....Will definitely pop in again!

Stopped by for a glass of wine, but the menu, specials board was very interesting.

I’ve been eating their classic burgers here for over two years. Brilliant spot and atmosphere but the burgers could just be so much better. Frozen generic patties just don’t make for a pleasant meal. Great chips and service. Choose something else.

Warm cosy and very popular. Didn't eat food but looking around at food being served it looked good.

Visited a couple of times on our holiday. Once for food and once for drinks only. Enjoyed both times, a good selection of drinks and good choices on the menu. Good was of a good quality at a reasonable price. Service was friendly and professional. Certainly recommend.

Super cosy traditional village pub! Warm and friendly staff, and very accomodating. We had a lite lunch which although only a sandwich was quite substantial. Prices seemed average for a meal out these days, which aren't as reasonable as they once were! Good selection of beers, ales, and ciders, and a decent choice on the menu. Right in the heart of this ancient settlement renown for being the most rebellious village in Devon, the kingfisher was a welcomed watering hole along the trail.
A great pub with an awesome atmosphere ?
