It is extremely difficult to find fresh ingredients, a professional chef, extreme cleanliness and authentic flavours in a take away. What tempted me to this restaurant was the owners responses to what are obviously fabricated bad reviews. When I called this restaurant a lovely polite young man answered the phone. As a Cantonese I would say I love Singapore fried rice. I ate alone and was so full while 1/4 fried rice was left, and I finished the rest the next day. The hot and sour soup was also great but the shrimp (or prawn? not sure) still has a bit flavor of fish (I don’t know if this is specific, in Chinese we say 腥味). The price is also great!! I hope I would have an opportunity to try other dishes next time :)

Lovely food but I thought it was quite expensive and portions were not that big. We had 2 Chicken dishes, 2 soups, a plain noodle and rice and prawn crackers. £36. It’s a shame as a it’s so expensive a lot of people won’t be able to afford to get a takeaway in future! I understand food prices etc have increased but not all local Chinese takeaways are this expensive! We will return to our favourite in the town centre which unfortunately was closed tonight.
