This was a lovely country pub, with lovely food & very friendly staff. Rolo the dog is friendly & adorable with a proper little smile!The atmosphere is peaceful & the place is surrounded by beautiful wetland habitats, so we saw some fabulous bird life too.The meal was really tasty & the portions are generous. Went to Swans Nest for Sunday lunch, the girl thought we were a party of 3, but that was the time we booked for, my partner said no, it should be table for two, then she thought it was table 25, but it was table 23, no problem though, my partner asked for a few drinks of beer, but the girl had no idea what he was saying, so he went up with her to the bar himself, we had beef as it looked lovely, but it was very fatty, roasters lovely, gravy watery, parsnips were okay, very dry...read full review
