The Redwing is probably the best value-for-money restaurant in Devon. They could charge twice as much for food this good, served in such a lovely setting, but somehow manage to maintain very reasonable prices. Service is friendly and efficient, and the interior decor is uniquely stylish. It's easy to get to as well. We we’re starting at a B and B and there were recommendations for this restaurant, we just turned up. A table was found, followed by a delicious meal, we definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

The menu was small, and quite traditional - very few gluten free options, BUT the red mullet which I had was beautifully cooked. A very large portion with delicious accompaniments.Dietary restrictions: Quite late muted gluten free options (eg burger-without-the-bun (one of us had this and it came with a tonne of chips, so would have been an ok choice).
