Went there for a Xmas catch up. Seemed organised and well prepared for us. The carvery was decent choices. Good meat choices including lamb and decent portion. And veg was decent. Dessert was OK (had an apple crumble) chocolate brownie looked very good. Good value at £14 for 2 courses. Seems to be a solid choice no frills but good value.
We had breakfast with Santa and my two grandchildren aged 8 & 5 absolutely loved it. Father Christmas was a lovely man and had a real beard, brilliant, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. First time here & we were pleasantly surprised. We had a carvery & a dessert off the festive menu & with two alcoholic drinks for the two of us, it came to less than £40.The only criticism was the serving spoons for the carvery were too hot to handle, so you had to wrap a serviette around each of the spoons, to be able to handle them.
