food was excellent - really tasty pizza with great texture, chips were just perfect.But - we visited on a weekday for lunch, having booked a table.It was packed which was good - but there was only one waiter - he was charming but we waited an hour for our food.Also we didn't realise we would be sitting outside. Lovely place near the beach, food was mostly delicious but quite pricey for what it was.Only critique really is that we ordered ‘potatoes with chives and truffle mayo’ and when it arrived it was in-fact potato-less skins - with all potato scraped out - no doubt to make the croquettes that are on the menu… And you get the equivalent of one jacket potato amount for £5. Amazing food and service. Pizza, Gnocchi and fried squid was exceptional.Only drawback was the smell inside due to no extraction system in place. Having spoken to members of staff I believe this is due to the listed building. Hopefully there are some ways around this to ensure staff and customers go home smelling a little fresher than we did.
