Live in Axminster but decided to stop in after visiting family...such fast service! Food was ready before I had chance to put my purse away...im usually waiting 30mins plus at my local... really tasty chips and fair prices.. 4 happy full tummy'

I always visit the Honiton Chippee (opposite the police station) Good fish and chips, very clean tidy, and organised. It's just a shame they pay more attention to their online orders i.e. paper bags on the counter, than they do in greeting walk in customers with eye contact and immediately care for the customer in front of them.

I had been recommended this establishment and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Ordered the Haddock and chips. A few mins wait as it was cooked fresh. The batter was crisp, and the fish was nice and flaky. Bit like me really. Best chips I’ve had for a long time, well cooked with an oily richness. The woman who served me even brought it outside when ready, where I was waiting passing the time of day with my friend. Too service and well priced meal.

Lovely fish & chips. The batter on the fish was slightly too thick, which meant there was a little uncooked, but this was a tiny flaw in an otherwise fantastic meal.
