Staying in a nearby hotel we fancied a Thai. Takeaway only available. Tom Yum soup, Stir fried chilli and basil and curry dish, all Thai staple dishes, were authentic and excellent. No ‘dumbing down’ on spice content or missing galangal, holy basil which is often the case with European takeaways, presumably on cost grounds. No hesitation in recommending.
We visited here last night at about 9.30pm and we were thrilled that they were still open and serving. The lady who served our table couldn’t have been lovelier & she was so helpful. The food was piping hot & very tasty. The main meal portion was large & I was full up by the time I was half way through it (Chicken in ginger & spring onion sauce with plain noodles). Just picked up a last minute Thai at Sawatadee, faultless I’m fussy like a bit of heat and freshly cooked, happened while we waited. Talked politics while we waited, similar views, and hey presto out it came. Took it home ate it with a glass of wine, superb !!! Will be back again soon!
