Went to watch Torpoint FC against Honiton today, as the club house bar wasn't open when we turned up ended up in The Volunteer, what a great pub , locals made us very welcome , lovely set up , thank you
A proper pub for proper people. Visiting the area from London and fell in love with this pub, had a great time, and given a proper West country welcome. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality.

Not our usual place but we enjoyed having a few drinks outside listening to the live band they had playing that night and was a good atmosphere.they have heaters outside for those cooler nights as well and seating areas so all round we give it a thumbs up :)
