This was the best meal we had in our week away in Devon!! Excellent wine choice. The Devon View offers a set menu but has excellent variety. The night we ate here there were 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts to choice from. We both had the chicken terrain to start. This was excellent, full of flavour. We stayed at Highbullen for 2 consecutive nights and took the opportunity to dine in the Devon View restaurant one evening. The menu was 3 course at a fixed price. We could not fault the food. Our 1st choice wine was not available but we were offered a much more expensive bottle at the price of our original. The wine we were recommended was excellent. Ask for a window table, ….you won’t be disappointed with the views.

I went with friends today to Lynton which is a beautiful place in NorthDevon. We came across this lovely little place called Charlie Fridays it was so nice inside bright and a good feel good vibe brightly Coloured decor and good Cuban type music. Food was great and Anna the owner and the girls so friendly I would definitely Recommend . We live in Barnstsple
