Had a Sunday lunch whilst visiting my sister who lives near The Grove.What a gem of a pub! Low beamed ceiling, cosy atmosphere and brilliant food.The Bratwurst scotch egg was perfection, warm with a soft centre and washed down with a lovely pint of local ale.Sunday lunch itself was delicious and obviously cooked with care and attention to detail. Had a top-notch meal for four this lunchtime. The landlord, Rob and his team could not have been more obliging. Excellent food, service and ambience in this superb pub. I look forward to our next visit and would thoroughly recommend! ??

A perfect winter’s evening… great food, great beer… lots of wines by the glass including several local Devon wines. The landlord and team clearly take enormous pride in what they do. It is fabulous. I love pubs and I can genuinely say this is one of the best pubs that I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot!
