We stayed at the place across the road which was awful. The bakery was the best part of my 3 day trip. So quintessentially placed and old fashioned looking. Just what I expect from a traditional village shop. Everyone was queuing outside patieintly so I knew I must be in the right place. Instantly on entering this was confirmed such friendly welcome and warm people who chatted away to me as an outsider. I bought cakes and bread mostly ate on return home in London.
