Pubs • “We called by chance and decided to have lunch , there was already a queue waiting for the pub to open at 12:00. The pub is a quaint old pub set on the middle of the village a 200 yard walk from the car park I had the Ox cheek burrito and my wife the cauliflower and blue cheese soup and we had a portion of Padron peppers to share all the food was excellent and the service was good considering the amount of customers at the time”
Pubs • “I came to this pub years ago for a quiet pint, and this time we came for a gig. On Saturday night, the place was busy with friendly people and cute dogs ? - the bar staff only took card which was fine for us. They had birra Moretti ( draught ) andthatchers Katy (bottled) ? which was great - the drinks are a little bit expensive (£6+ a pint) but it is the only pub in the area so I can understand why. The band were great and the sound quality was good ?”

“Wow just what was required to Kickstart our weekend away (and to very quickly forget the 6hr trip to get there).Staff are incredibly friendly/accommodating/knowledgeable about the food and drinks, nothing phased or was to much trouble.Chef is inventive and certainly knows what works well together, this coupled with amazing local produce is a very heavy mix.A must if in the area for foodies”
