First visit. We will be back. I had the liver and bacon. Far too much for me! Service was good. Well looked after. Plenty of choice for a gluten free diet - going to try a pizza next time.
Mixed bag. Christmas Eve. The table we had felt like it was in the middle of the room, no real atmosphere and nothing particularly Christmas like about it. The table wasn't made up correctly apparently so that was corrected but the lady who laid it up was clear to tell us she'd had enough of the Christmas menu and would be glad when it's over - festive warmth. The food itself was reasonable. A few of the staff were excellent when we asked but the table didn't get that much service...read full review

We had a Sunday Roast and it was absolutely delicious. Plenty of food and a proper meat gravy. The chef was very very friendly along with all the members of staff. Another bonus was there was an option of a small roast at £10.95, the normal roast was £14.95. We would definitely return for another roast in the future. It was very busy which indicated how popular it was. I would recommend.
