Recently visited for my 25th birthday with my partner and our 1 year old daughter, Honestly the best breakfast I have ever had! Little twist on a traditional breakfast and it was just amazing! All of the staff were so welcoming and lovely, very accommodating with our requests. Will absolutely be back and I can’t wait!
Visited Alder as it was recommended to me by my work colleague and what a wonderful surprise it was! Had a delicious lunch with my partner, enjoying the view, the great hospitality and fell in love instantly with the rosé! A bottle came home with us, of course!The 40 min drive from Exeter was all worth it! I cannot wait to be back ♥️

What a refreshing change to find a menu with a difference, all very tasty and served with a smile. Great food, great service and a lovely location. Worth a drive out for breakfast/lunch and then on to admire the beauty of Dartmoor. We will be back. Would recommend booking for lunch as it was very busy.
