Such a busy small village pub with great atmosphere. Whilst most wither and die, they have so many special evenings that it's always well supported. The Wednesday quizzes are great fun.

Superb food with a lovely twist ( Small cup of soup, springs rolls) not too heavy on the sweet, perfectly balanced. WILL GO BACK. Apple crumble with the custard under the crumble topping truly inspired. Lovely intimate setting.
