Nice food & coffee, even a treat for the dog. Clean & tidy with friendly staff. Self clearing with separate bins for composting & recycling.

Pasties still very hot from the oven at 10:40. Very helpful lady packed them in paper and provided paper carrier bags ... they were still warm & irrisistable at lunch time during our walk. Friends chose basic pasties, we had steak and stilton. Lots and lots of choice. You need to visit !!

Peanut fudge was just awful. Smelled stale. Just tossed into a paper bag which was not fit to give anyone , once the grease had seeped through, it all disintegrated. I wasn’t offered alternative packaging. Consequently, by the time we got it back an hour later, it had fused itself to the paper. £7 fudge into the bin. Service was miserable and unwelcoming. Spend your money at other shops.

Had a steak pasty, which was really delicious, and 100% worth the wait in the queue. The man serving us was also so welcoming and friendly.

My partner and I came down to Watersmeet to hike the trail to the hunting lodge, and afterwards parked in town and needed something to eat. We walked past the pasty shop thinking we’d get an afternoon tea, but the smell of this place was so amazingly good, we doubled back. We ordered the lamb and mint, ham and cheddar, and chicken, bacon and chorizo pasties. I think my mouth might be permanently burned because not only were they incredibly fresh and hot, I didn’t want to stop eating regardless of the heat. There are some 1* reviews on here but they are not fair, and are mostly from people whining about not being treated like royalty. They need to get over themselves cause these pasties are insanely good. I’d come back to Lynmouth just to sit in the sun on the rocks and eat these pasties again.

Really good coffee in this lovely friendly coffee shop. Nice to see it busy. Although I didn’t eat the food looked good. Highly recommended.

No idea what's in their food. Appalling understanding of allergies. Staff unhelpful bordering on rude. Went else where

Dave

One of the best pastys we have had.

Thomas Howley

Brilliant chicken, bacon and chorizo pasty

Brilliant customer service: kind and friendly. Have been there many times and have never been disappointed with the food or staff.

Large queues to be told they were only doing pastys. No pannis etc. No one bothering to tell anyone queuing. It's not hard to stick a notice up or even to just shout to people in the queue. I have seen the responses to other 1 star reviews and can clearly see the management has a really bad attitude and can't take any criticism. It's part of running a business is to be able to take criticism and learn from it.

Incredible pasties, sell out fast and you often have to queue but 100% worth it. Just the smell from the bakery alone is enough to get your mouth watering.
