Staying near by with friends so tried many restaurants in the area but this was by far our favourite! ,fish was cooked to perfection with delicious crispy batter ,youngest had the hotwings and said they were far better than kfc chicken ! ,mozzarella sticks and veggie burger were another firm favourite in the group ,wish we had a takeaway as good as this in our area with so many sea food ,vegetarian and child friendly options ,kids were begging to return all holiday as the chips...read full review
Just fantastic! ? Can’t understand negative reviews ? Have been coming here for years and food is always top quality , a must try for anyone visiting the area ! Freshly cooked to order and quick service ,so many vegetarian options too !

We’ve been going to the Red Mullet in Ashburton for many years. Always great quality, well cooked chips, fresh fish and crispy batter. Customer service is always second to none! I’m sure we’ll be visiting for many years to come ?? Highly recommended ?
