I have been here several times before and have enjoyed good food. I visited on 19th February 2022 and it was not good.We had to wait over an hour for the main to arrive and the service was poor. We were not offered any more drinks or desserts. Only 1 diet coke left in a place which doesn't serve alcohol anymore. I can respect the alcohol situation but at least have enough diet coke. We had 4 different people come to the table and it was a right mish mash. The menus were very old...read full review
Read a lot of reviews to find a decent Indian restaurant and Ganges came up, we left disappointed, it wasn't very busy and took 40 minutes for the food to come out which was average, we had to sit and eat our meal with our coats on because it was freezing in there, and no alcohol was allowed.

Simply the maddest restaurant experience I've ever had in the UK. Complete chaos. Too many take away orders being taken leaving guests in the restaurant waiting. But I lucked out. Food is delicious. No temptation to double the bill with drinks.
