We were welcomed by smiley Katy who served us drinks and talked us through the different types of fish available. They have an extensive menu so it was difficult to decide what to order, but settled on Monkfish Curry. We were not disappointed. Very friendly staff (Katy is a huge credit to them), great menu and delicious food. This is a gem of a f&c shop in Paignton.
We ordered 3 vegan pea fritters and chips and 1 fish deal ( with peas and a can of drink) l asked for 2 Malibu slushies and 1 non alcoholic slushy and a can of coke.We got charged for 1 slushy more than we ordered. There was no alcohol in the 2 slushies. No can of drunk or mushy peas were given. Appalling service, no apologies. We weren’t the only customers querying the orders. Very disappointed

I agree with some reviews I’ve ready below, this place had dropped, we kept having disappointing dinners, last night was absolutely spot on. The batter o the fish was beautiful, the chips were soft but not soggy again beautiful and the curry sauce perfected. Keep it up guys because it’s money we’ll spent when it tastes that good !
