A proper pub, with proper beer (and cider). One of the best places in Plymouth to meet with a few friends for pint and a chat, or if you’re around at the weekend, catch a band. Great staff - very efficient and very friendly. Pop in for a quick one, or settle in for a few hours. You’ll love it.
Traveled further than intended due to all Crownhill/Eggbuckland pubs closing at 22:00 but was rewarded, as always, by the Fortescue and a great pint of Hanlon's stout. Thank you Fortescue for rescuing what was looking like a disastrous evening.

What an amazing night we had on New Year's Eve ? Such a fantastic atmosphere in the pub with so many people up dancing to the fantastic band, Black Light Blue. The service provided by Claire and her staff was first class. What a buzz ?
