Searching for a good pub within half an hour of home I came across The Black River Inn and made a late Sunday lunch booking. It’s a lovely old building with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The best part was the food which was excellent. We had the three meats roast with a huge selection of veg. Outstanding food and a wide selection of spirits and things on tap. The staff are always exceptional and friendly. I highly recommend checking out their themed nights as the food is truly on another level.Price wise, the food is worth every penny and drinks are reasonable.10/10 go if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Always a selection of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.
