Food & drinks: Fantastic food, great ales and wine. Beautifully appointed, with a lovely room with a big roaring fire to relax on one of the couches whilst waiting for our table (we were early)
Just wow !If you want fine dining then this is the place to go .From walking through the door ,such a warm welcome awaits.Fabulous menu executed to perfection .Lovely atmosphere, tentative waiting staff and knowledge of food being served .18 years they have been awarded Michelin star and can see why .Family run business with a passion for food and the fine dining experience.Maximum of 26 covers but that is how they give the service they do !Look forward to another visit in...read full review

We went for a 70th birthday meal. The setting is really great. It's been there for centuries. Originally, it was the accommodation for the masons building the church across the road. The food was prepared and presented beautifully. Cooked to perfection. We found it slightly expensive. We had hoped for traditional pub food as it used to be 30 yrs ago.
