“The rooms are really comfy with a rainfall shower in the ensuite bathroom. Bathrobes and toiletries are provided.The bar and waiting staff are really friendly and they serve an excellent selection of beer and wine.The food is superb. I had egg yolk raviolo, followed by lamb belly and devilled kidneys, then the raspberry soufflé for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious, but my only niggle would be that I had barely put my cutlery down after finishing my starter and the waitress was at my table wanting to clear it. I'm all for attentive service, but I prefer a couple of minutes after finishing a course before the plates are cleared.Breakfast was really tasty too, with plenty to choose from. I was still full from the night before so I just went for the full Cornish.All in all a great place to stay and eat. Its a shame I live 350 miles away or I'd be eating here all the time!”
