“Our visits to Teignmouth often involve a walk along the seafront and ending at the Back Beach, with time for a drink or two before the train home. It is a lovely spot to sit outside with a pint to watch activity on the Teign, and is clearly very popular with the locals.”

“Had Sunday roasts here a party of ten adults we arrived early but the staff weren’t put out. We were made to feel very welcome the staff were very accommodating nothing too much trouble. Food arrived piping hot with plenty of vegetables and gravy no complaints at all. Will definitely return when in the area again. “We wanted somewhere to have a Sunday roast over the bank holiday and Ye Olde Jolly Sailor didn't disappoint. The pub is gorgeous, with a lovely beer garden at the front and then wooden beams and a low roof inside. A truly gorgeous British pub.Being extremely busy on a Sunday afternoon over the Bank Holiday, the service was extremely efficient and quick and the food was lovely. I had the gammon whilst my girlfriend the beef, both were gorgeous and the roast comes with veg and cauliflower cheese included. We were not rushed at all considering how busy the pub was, nor did we have to wait very long at the bar.A great spot for Sunday lunch and would happily go back any time soon.”
