“We holiday at Torquay every year & have for years and my lad will only eat at offshore which we don’t mind. Food is great regardless of what you have, steak always perfectly cooked, pizzas amazing and a great selection of dishes. However what’s important is all the staff make you feel like returning friends and you always feel welcome. Special mention this year Dylan & Callum and especially Jackie this year who made such a fuss of our boy last year and to remember his name as soon as she saw him this year made his holiday. We will be sad to leave again this year but will be back next year (if not before) if you’re visiting Torquay be sure to check out offshore for breakfast lunch or evening meal.”

“Very busy just after we went in. Only 2 staff, that I could see, coffee was okay, not very hot. I know coffee is not supposed to be boiling hot so I always ask for a small jug of hot water. I got a thimble full of very luke warm water. Bit disappointed ?.”

“Our only go to place to eat. Helpful staff, good tasty food, reasonable priced, and kept clean and tidy. Good access. Sometimes could do with a bigger seating area as very popular. Fabulous views best in town.”

“Greggs is a chain, so churns out mass produced food for the masses! It's a convenient place to stop off, whilst fuelling the car or van. The baguettes are good, as are the doughnuts for a treat. Not good for you, but still tasty! The staff are always friendly and cheerful, despite relentless work!

Parking: At busy times, it can be tricky to park, use Google maps app to avoid the busiest times!”

“My daughter and I absolutely love ‘The Grand Hotel’ we have stayed there 3 times in the last 12 months and we are booked to go back again in April. The place just has a fabulous feel, the history and the atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The concierge are always very welcoming from the moment we arrive until the sad day for my 6yr old that we have to leave! We can’t wait to come back, again and again and again. We plan on making memories there for years to come.”

“Down by the harbour, so excellently placed. Great outdoor and indoor seating, fabulous choice of lager, ales, spirits and soft drinks. And an excellent menu catering for all tastes!! Their Sunday roast is highly recommended. But do book a table on a Sat night, or you're eating outside. They care and it shows and they work hard to make you feel welcome. We loved it!! And Jo, the boss lady, is a real diamond - honest, engaging, friendly and fun!! ?”
