We were put in this hotel as the hotel we originally booked transfered us here. I was quite excited as this was a star up from the one we booked.When we arrived we discovered there was no designated disabled parking, no spaces available on the street and a parking garage at £10 a day, I didn't want to pay £40 for parking as that is an unexpected cost. Stayed at the grand for a couple of nights away with my partner. Really easy to get to from the train station, friendly check in and clean room perfectly adequate for a short break.We found the hotel to be quiet during our visit which suited us because we wanted to relax. The hotel as soon as you come in is pretty impressive with the decor but when walking to rooms the carpet is so dated needs replacing, it's bald in a lot of places. Some of the tiles round the indoor pool in the pool needs to be replaced properly as it looked a bit shabby. Hotel is 20mins walk into the town, bus stops outside just across the road. Beds comfy.
