Stayed at the Sea Trout Inn over the Easter weekend. Delighted with the accommodation, room was larger than rooms we have stayed in at other venues, which was fantastic as we had out 4 legged friend with us. We had our evening meal there 2 nights and on both occasions, it did not disappoint. Food was absolutely wonderful and plenty of it. Dog was allowed in the restaurant with us while we ate, so a big plus for us.

Had a birthday lunchtime meal here. This place was recommended to me by the reviews I had read. It was, of course, quiet before the schools had broken up and prior to Easter, however, the food was great. I had seafood linguine and my partner had belly pork. Both were cooked the right amount and were delicious. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. They also had a car park which was very useful. A small garden at the back of the pub was nicely lad out and would be useful in warmer weather. We will go back!

Excellent value for the room , dinner was nice with local prices.Room was very noisy with traffic cars and commercial vehicles starting at 4.30 am passing every few minutes constantly.Guest noise from doors closing from 5 am . Room service was over looked on one day of the stay .staff in the restaurant were very nice .

We had a fantastic roast lunch today. The staff was welcoming and friendly, great relaxing atmosphere and staff didn't rush us as some places we have been to. In fact we were so relaxed if we stayed any longer we would have gone to sleep with a food

Had a superb lunch. Good menu. Beautiful pastry on the pies and amazing mussels. Great service. We were seated by our friendly host by the log fire on a very cold day. Would definitely return.Food & drinks: Good range of dishes. Excellent local produce

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Spent 2 nights here, the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a meal and breakfast and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back.The cups in the rooms were a great size rather than tiny cups and saucers. Our room had a patio door and looked over the garden.Rooms: Had everything you needed it was comfortable and ensuite was great, with towels and toiletries.The water was very hot in the shower !We only had one problem and that was the bath towels were very small, but we are large people. Bath sheets would be better.Food & drinks: Excellent food and a great selection of drinks.
