Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Spent 2 nights here, the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a meal and breakfast and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back.The cups in the rooms were a great size rather than tiny cups and saucers. Awesome lunch! A nice choice of tasty items including a few non meat options. Proper pies, I tried the chicken and chorizo. Pleasant service and a nice warm log fire.Some interesting bovine art!Food & drinks: Properly made short crust pies. Beautiful light and tasty sticky toffee pudding

Had a superb lunch. Good menu. Beautiful pastry on the pies and amazing mussels. Great service. We were seated by our friendly host by the log fire on a very cold day. Would definitely return.Food & drinks: Good range of dishes. Excellent local produce
